Between the 8th and the 12th of November 2004, 80 young people from Asia and Europe are gathering in Sri Lanka to participate in a Youth Summit organized by UNFPA. In total there were people from 7 Asian countries: Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Laos, Nepal and Cambodia, and 10 young Europeans from YouAct, a European Youth Network for Sexual and Reproductive Rights. The goal of the Youth Summit was to exchange information and experiences and to learn from each other in order to improve the work of these young change-makers.

More information about the summit, including a photo gallery and interviews with different participants could be found on the UNFPA RHYIA Youth Summit Website.
